We are pleased to announce that Siem Confucius has commenced her first laden transatlantic voyage from Emden, Germany, to Mexico, carrying more than 4,800 new vehicles for Volkswagen Group.

The LNG-powered Pure Car and Truck Carrier (PCTC) will complete the crossing over approximately three weeks, marking an important milestone in her entry into commercial service.

Her deployment supports Volkswagen Group’s strategy to reduce emissions from its overseas vehicle logistics and demonstrates the application of LNG propulsion in deep-sea car carrier operations.

For Seven Yield, the voyage marks a further step in bringing our investment in LNG-powered tonnage into service.
