Seven Yield has entered into five-year time charter agreements with a major Chinese automobile manufacturer for its two pure car and truck carriers (PCTCs), Siem Confucius and Siem Aristotle.
The vessels will be delivered into their new charters in 2027 and 2028, respectively, securing employment for each vessel for a further five years.
Built in 2020, the sister vessels were the world’s first deep-sea PCTCs equipped with LNG dual-fuel propulsion. Each vessel has a carrying capacity of 7,500 car equivalent units and measures approximately 200 metres in length and 38 metres in breadth.
The agreements secure employment for both vessels for a further five years, supporting Seven Yield’s long-term contracted revenue base.
